It is almost impossible not to be exposed to miraculous stories relating to CBD. Everyone seems to know someone who used it or is using it for something. For years we couldn’t help but wonder about the claims being made and the possibilities that could be. Endo Stat Therapies is the result of years of evolution in available data, changing legislative landscapes and growing public sentiment regarding the use of cannabinoid compounds in human consumption.
CBD – Cannabidiol is a phyto Cannabinoid discovered in 1940 and can be derived from both marijuana and its relative, the hemp plant. Available preliminary research is promising and intriguing, indicating treatments for conditions that include but are not limited to anxiety, movement disorders, cognition, weight loss and pain. Almost 66% of the trials at the beginning of 2019 were focused on patients with Parkinson’s disease. At least 9 of them were for chronic pain in cancer patients. Epidiolex, a CBD based medication was FDA approved in 2018 for catastrophic epileptic seizures in children. Medical community interest is high which is fueling a medical trend incorporating cannabinoids in medical health solutions.
We are in fact in the letter drafting stage for a pre IND meeting with the FDA for a clinical trial using our inhaler by a nationally recognized Hospital/University to explore the effects as an adjunct by reducing, minimize or possibly eliminate opiate use for pain management in post op surgeries. The medical community is keenly focused on what is being described as an “Opiate Crisis”.
The four most researched cannabinoids are THC, CBD, CBG and CBN. The two most talked about are THC and CBD, primarily because the MMJ industry has the money to promote them in studies and lobby groups. The fact is, there are over 120 identified cannabinoid compounds that except for THC (less than 0.3%) are almost exclusively synthesized in the hemp plant – Federally legal hemp which includes CBD. Resources like Pubmed.gov clinically indicate that CBN has a significant sedative effect. CBG shows a remarkable anti- inflammatory effect and is in fact a secondary messenger system like cyclic adenosine amino phosphate, that effects the entire human Endocannabinoid System.

However, with all the unsubstantiated claims which defy FDA guidelines and unregulated product on so many selling sites and on store shelves, it was clear from the start that quality, purity and innovation was our purpose. Aerosol inhalers have been in use for more than 60 years with no reported issues. The public deserves the technology.
